Dr. Lauretta Halstead's bio next to the first image: Dr. Halstead is an ordained minister, educator, counselor, speaker, and the founder of Contemplative Conversation. With academic roots from Tufts University, Boston University School of Theology, the University of South Carolina, and Towson University, she blends philosophy, ethics, and faith into healing spaces that allow people to pause, process, and transform.

Reverend Dr. Xenia Barnes is a social and behavioral scientist, trauma-informed advocate, and unapologetic voice for the marginalized. As a Black woman navigating the intersections of disability, survivorship, and systemic oppression, she brings both scholarly rigor and lived experience to her work on ableism, workplace equity, and community healing.

Regulated, Not Resilient: A Nervous System Approach to Women’s Mental and Emotional Health

Women are often taught to cope rather than regulate, leaving the nervous system locked in chronic survival states that impact mental health, emotional resilience, and overall well being. This workshop introduces the C-ENSR™ framework, a nurse-led, trauma-informed approach to nervous system regulation that integrates clinical insight, somatic awareness, and energetic restoration. Participants will explore how regulation—not willpower or self-care alone—becomes the foundation for sustainable healing and integration.

Dr. Vikki Johnson is a transformational speaker, chaplain, spiritual mentor to many women, emotional wellness advocate, best-selling author and Founder of Soul Wealth LLC. Her mission is to guide women to manifest abundance, ease and flow while creating a life they truly love.
